The action takes place in 1916-1927. At the time of the celebration of the 300th anniversary of the House of Romanov in the Winter Palace. To the eight-year-old Princess Anastasia Romanova, daughter of the last Russian Emperor Nikolai II, her grandmother, Dowager Empress Maria Feodorovna, gives her a pendant with a French inscription "Until I meet you in Paris" and a music box, which opens with the help of the pendant.

The ball is upset by the evil lord of the dark forces, Grigory Rasputin, once an advisor to the tsar's court before he was expelled for treatment, for which he swore revenge and sold his soul to the Devil in exchange for a magic flask-artifact, in which the dark forces are encased. He curses the royal family and all of Russia in general.

During the mutiny, angry revolutionaries flooded into the palace, and the royal family had to flee. All the rooms of the palace were overturned, and some of their belongings were spoiled by the uninvited guests. There was noise and panic, and members of the royal family, according to eyewitnesses, fled in different directions to save themselves.

Some eyewitnesses saw Nicholas and Alexandra with children hiding through the corridors of the castle cellars. The tsarist workers ran against the crowd, trying somehow to stem the flow of the revolutionaries. Maria Feodorovna was seen at the vokzal after the mutiny, leaving on the first departing train.

But the actions of one of the members of the royal family were never determined until the end. Some claim to have seen her with Maria Feodorovna running to the train. Others claimed that Maria Feodorovna was hiding alone in the train. Some revolutionaries in pursuit of Nicholas did not mention her at all. The topical question for today is where did she disappear to?
